We will say that $U$ is edgewise accessible if, for every $n$-simplex $\sigma : \Delta ^ n \rightarrow \operatorname{\mathcal{C}}$, the fiber product $\operatorname{\mathcal{E}}_{\sigma } = \Delta ^ n \times _{\operatorname{\mathcal{C}}} \operatorname{\mathcal{E}}$ is an accessible $\infty $-category.
