Is Exercise 3.4.3.1 correct? Take A=B=C=D=point, and arbitrarily, the resulted diagram is not a pushout of sets. But it is probably correct for groups.

In the setup of Theorem 3.4.3.3, is the top face required to commute?

Yes, the cubical diagram is assumed commutative.
