I have a question related to this result. Say I have a functor , we know that the slice diagonal is an equivalence of -categories. I want to know if the pullback is also an equivalence of -categories. (Since the oriented fiber product maps to , the question makes sense.)

Yes. The pullback is also a categorical pullback, and equivalences are stable under categorical pullback.
